So I’ve been thinking more about this for a few years now and would love to hear your thoughts: 

Woodmont is a Blue Zone!

Lifestyle: Physical activity, low stress, rich social interactions

Diet: Local whole foods diet, including lots of nuts

Community: Strong sense of community

Environment: Homogeneous geographical areas

The fulcrum piece that drives this Community of Practice (CoP) is that segment highlighted in bold. As there are brilliant and wonderful places in America and throughout the world, there’s always a sense of home or community within Woodmont. Not led by pretentiousness, just pure humbleness whether it’s strangers passing by on their beach walks, fur-babies acquainting with one another, fire-side chats with neighbors and/or that simple nod of acknowledgment.

The act of being present and seen. 

By no means is it easy to develop this sense of culture or CoP and it takes purposeful effort, but the return on Woodmont and the wonderful residents is priceless.
